Firstly some dash cameras have whats called a parking mode so will need to be hardwired for this reason. 

Secondly if you hardwire your dash camera you will reduce the amount of visable cables in your car. You also free up your 12v socket for another devise like your mobile phone charging cable. 

Every install is unique and can vary in time depending on the amount of equipment being installed and the level of work involved. Speakers, as we know, project sound away from the speaker towards the inside of the car, however what you may not know is that the speaker will also project some sound towards the outside of the vehicle. This sound is often lost into the door panel and may resonate through the car causing rattles and vibrations.
